Controller (Consultant) – SaaS | Remote / NYC

We are seeking a Controller (Consultant) to support a client during a transition within a SaaS and manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for preparing financial statements through analysis, reconciliations, and reviewing revenue transactions, with a strong focus on SaaS revenue recognition. The Controller will manage two junior accountants and report to the VP of Finance and CFO (offshore team).

Location: Primarily remote, with 1–2 days per month onsite in NYC for inventory-related responsibilities (Hybrid). 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Review and analyze revenue transactions in a SaaS environment
• Supervise 2 junior accountants
• Support leadership during a finance transition period

Requirements:

• SaaS accounting experience required
• Experience preparing financial statements and revenue analysis
• Prior Controller or senior-level accounting leadership experience
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Manufacturing experience a plus
