Accounts Receivable Auditor

Position: Remote AR Auditor / AR Representative
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift
Location: Fully remote, Central Time candidates preferred
Experience: 2+ years medical billing or accounts receivable
Systems: Epic or NextGen experience highly preferred

The role will initially support a large healthcare facility auditing medical claims, coding and EOBs for errors before or after submission. Upon completion of the project, the person is expected to transition into a traditional AR Representative role.

Core responsibilities include:

• Reviewing medical claims, coding and EOBs for errors
• Calling insurance companies on denied or incorrectly paid claims
• Writing appeals for denied and underpaid claims
• Checking payer portals and researching claim status
• Working across multiple practice management systems and national payers
• Managing AR work queues and helping increase client collections
