Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual underwriting reports and analyses
- Perform risk assessments and ensure accuracy in policy evaluations
- Analyze underwriting data, identify discrepancies, and create reports for decision support
- Evaluate underwriting performance by comparing actual results with risk models and forecasts
- Recommend process improvements and assist in the development of underwriting tools and policies
- Maintain a strong foundation in underwriting analysis and forecasting
Skills & Experience
- Relevant risk analysis experience
- High proficiency in using underwriting software and risk management tools for reporting
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Insurance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in risk assessments and policy evaluations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
