Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely vendor payments
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in payment records
- Analyze payment data, identify discrepancies, and provide reports for decision-making
- Evaluate vendor payment performance by comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts
- Recommend improvements to streamline the accounts payable process and support financial reporting
- Maintain a strong foundation in financial tracking, reporting, and reconciliation processes
Skills & Experience
- High proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics) and financial tools for reporting
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing vendor payments and reconciling accounts
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
